Anyone who has enjoyed fresh, vine ripe strawberries right from the patch knows that the ones sold at the mega-mart aren’t quite the real deal. With the local berries you can smell their wonderful fragrance before you see them. When you see them they are plump and glistening red. Cut open the berries and the sweet nectar runs free to expose the red core that is firm, not crispy. But best of all is when the spoon transports that scoop of red, juicy, sweet and fragrant fruit under your delighted nose and delivers them to waiting taste buds. Luscious juice with a wonderful acid/sugar balance and the feel of the firm texture giving you an experience you will remember. This experience is only available from locally grown, really fresh, properly picked and handled strawberries.

We are growing strawberries using both traditional matted row and plasticulture.  The plasticulture system produces early fruit on raised beds that are easier to pick. Depending on the year, our season runs from early May into late June. The berries are picked at the height of ripeness, cooled, then delivered to your market within a few hours or they can be picked up at the farm for a discount.  We offer retail, wholesale and u-pick sales.
